CAKE
Ingredients:-
Butter -85 gms
Sugar
-85 gms
Egg
-2no
Glazed cherries -30 gms
Raisins/Sultanas -85 gms
Currants -45 gms
Candeed peel -30 gms
Cashew nuts -45 gms
Refined flour -130 gms
Baking pdr -1/4 tsp
Mixed spices -1/2 tsp
Sugar for caramel -30 gms
Salt
-a pinch
Milk—30 ml
Method:-
1.Line a tin
2.Cream butter & sugar till light
& fluffy.
3.Beat egg,add to mixture gradually.
4.Wash, pick & dry the fruit.Chop
cashew & candeed peel.Cut cherries.
5.Add these fruit to mixture.
6.Sieve flour,mixed spice,baking pdr.
7.Add flour gradually with milk to
which caramel has been added to get a stiff dropping consistency.
8.Pour into tins.
9.Bake at 160c for 1-1.5 hrs.
